ALLOY: EN ISO 17672 Al 110
AWS A5.8: BAlSi-5
FLUX: EN 1045 FL20

Characteristics

Mixture of AlSi10 alloy powder and non-corrosive neutral flux powder, subsequently extruded to obtain wire, rods and preformed with the most various shapes. Compared to the eutectic alloy has a slightly inferior smoothness, useful when the visibility of the brazing seam is needed.

Description

Suitable for the brazing of aluminium alloys. It requires no additional flux. Its application brings advantages in terms of productivity and reduction of brazing defects. It does not require to wash the joint after brazing because the flux residues are neutral and non-corrosive. The amount of flux inside the alloy can be varied according the particular application.

Application

Fluid and smooth alloy, with considerable capacity of penetration by capillarity, used for flame-brazing, for induction brazing and for fur-nace-brazing of the 1xxx, 3xxx e some 6xxx Alu-minium alloys. Used mainly in the production of automotive components and in the industry of air conditioning and refrigeration.

570 FCT

ALLOY: EN ISO 17672 Al 112
AWS A5.8: BAlSi-4
FLUX: EN 1045 FL20

Characteristics

Seamless AlSi12 flux-cored wire with a non-corro-sive neutral flux powder with CsAl-complex. The seamless fluxcored pipe type design offers highest and stable brazing quality avoiding any risk of leakage of the flux in the environment providing the right amount of it at any time to get a sound joint. The wire can be used also to produce preformed.

Description

Suitable to braze aluminium alloys, it requires no additional flux. Its application brings advantages in terms of productivity and reduction of brazing defects. It does not require to wash the joint after brazing because the flux residues are neutral and noncorrosive. The technology used for the production allows the elimination of any type of binder with the result of obtaining a joint cleaner and no emission of harmful fumes due to their combustion.

Application

Extremely fluid and smooth alloy, with considerable capacity of penetration by capillarity, used for flame-brazing and induction-brazing of the 1xxx, 3xxx e some 6xxx Aluminium alloys. The content of CsAlF increases the ability to braze 6xxx alloys (ex. 6063). Used mainly in the production of automotive components and in the industry of air conditioning and refrigeration with automatic wire feeding machine.

400 FCT

ALLOY: EN ISO 3677 S-Zn98Al-380
FLUX: CsAl-complex

Characteristics

Seamless Zn-based flux-cored wire, lead and cadmium free, to flame-braze aluminium at a low working temperature. Alloy 400 FCT can be also used to braze heterogeneous joints as Al-Cu, Al-Brass, Al-Inox. The seamless flux-cored pipe type design offers highest and stable brazing quality avoiding any risk of leakage of the flux in the environment providing the right amount of it at any time to get a sound joint. Alloy 400 FCT is extremely fluid and smooth, with considerable capacity of penetration by capillarity. It is recommended to avoid any overheating and to uniformly heat the joint. The wire can be used also to produce preformed.

Description

Thanks to the low melting point, the alloy allows to braze Aluminium with a wider operation window. Used mainly in the production of automotive components and in the industry of air conditioning and refrigeration with automatic wire feeding machine or manually. It does not require to wash the joint after brazing thanks to the fact the flux residues are neutral and non-corrosive. The technology used during the production process, allows the elimination of any type of binder with the result of obtaining a joint cleaner and no emission of harmful fumes due to their combustion.
